June Compliance Advisory Group Highlights

LCvista once again brought together industry experts for the recent virtual Quarterly Compliance Advisory Group (CAG) meeting on June 7th.  This meeting is a great place to expand our compliance knowledge through sharing of ideas, asking questions, and collaborating with other experts in our unique industry. 

For those of you who were unable to join our meeting these were the topics covered:

Completed:

  • Hawaii – updated jurisdiction for 20 credit annual requirement effective 1/1/2022
  • Oregon – updated CPE reporting form is live in LCvista
  • Rhode Island – updated CPE reporting form is live in LCvista
  • NASBA –  CPE Sponsorship Renewal will accept standard LCvista course report
  • CISA – added mapping for accounting, personal development, and computer science and reaccredited prior completed courses

Upcoming enhancements and releases:

  • Nevada –annual credit requirement increases from 20 hours to 40 hours
  • Flags – ability to add flags at the time jurisdiction is added to a profile
  • Texas – CPE reporting form release date is not yet available (monitoring with Board)
  • Client Only Forum:  LCvista will soon be introducing a forum on our website where CAG members can share industry related information and seek support between meetings
  • CFP – current birthdate programming logic will remain in place while LCvista continues to seek clarification on the regulator’s 2018 birthdate rule (certificate holders indicate the reporting period date is not being applied consistently using birthdate rule)
