LCvista has prepared a new Chartered Accountants in England and Wales (ICAEW) continuing professional development (CPD) jurisdiction for 2023 in anticipation of upcoming changes. ICAEW has announced that in November 2023 the organization will move to more structured CPD requirements and monitoring to meet evolving regulatory expectations.
The final requirements are not yet complete, but it appears the CPD hour minimum requirements will be determined based on roles. However, all members will be required to complete a 4-hour ICAEW Code of Ethics program annually. Firms and members can review the current recommendations and timeline on the ICAEW website.
Below is a draft of the ICAEW jurisdiction based on the information we know at this time. As more information is known we will continue to customize individual profile choices to accommodate minimum requirements based on roles.
